Life is sometimes hard,

And situations run so deep.

Left completely overwhelmed,

By the emotions that we keep.

Searching for the answers,

Surrounded by what seems wrong.

Can leave a heart uncertain,

On those days that last so long.

WHERE IS OUR HELP?

Feeling desperate and alone.

Yet, PEACE is waiting to find us,

When our Faith is boldly shown.

What shall we say then,

In response to these things?

If GOD is truly for us,

Songs of VICTORY we can sing.

Who shall come against God?

None, that will prevail.

We serve a God who fights for us,

And NEVER has He failed.

Lift your head up once again,

And sing your Victory song.

Dance inside the daybreak,

Rejoice, the night is gone.

Sitting in the night of a dark situation can overwhelm the mind like nothing else. It is very easy to falter in our human frailty and give in to the desperation that the hour feels. It’s a war that rages, all inside the mind, relentlessly pressing for a victor. We begin to feel the walls coming in, with no answer, no way out. . . and then we shake ourselves.

We come to ourselves and remember it is not us who controls all things, but God. He loves us and He fights for us. He is for us, and there is NOTHING He cannot do. We have the greatest conqueror in the Universe on our side. He goes before us, beside us and behind, for there is no place that we go that He is not there. God is ALL knowing and ALL powerful! So, why sit there in the dark night? It’s time to get up!

Scripture:

Romans 8:31 (KJV). . . .What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

Daybreak comes in this trial as we begin to rejoice in the God of our salvation and declare His might and glory! We sing the victory song of faith in our great God, and watch the rays of sunlight chase away the night. Darkness has absolutely no presence in light. It cannot stay, for when light shows up, darkness flees. The dawn of a new day breaths fresh hope into our lungs.

What is your victory song? Sing it before the Lord and dance the victory dance of praise before Him. King David was our great example of this. He didn’t have everything going perfectly in his life, and as he was leading Israel back to God, he rejoiced and danced before the Lord with all his might (that had to be some dance). He wasn’t waiting for things to change to rejoice, but rejoiced anyway, knowing that God was in control.

The Bible tells us that David was one who encouraged himself in the Lord( I Samual 30:6). He faced some dark situations, with many people against him, yet his faith remembered who was truly in control. He put his trust there with his song and dance to shine light on the dark night.

If you find yourself in a dark night of life, remind yourself . . . if God be for me, WHO can be against me? None can stand against God. Put your faith and the situation in God’s hands. Rejoice today . . .the night is gone.

Declare the Victory that you seek!
