Morning light so fresh and new,
It’s gentle strength reviving.
Awakened ground all soft with dew,
Announces the new day arriving.
Dancing with the shadows,
Every ray finds its own place.
A special delivery of warmth and comfort,
For Earth’s nourishment to embrace.
Morning light comes calmly,
Gently waking up what sleeps.
Reminding of a fresh day,
To live all of the possibilities it keeps.
It illuminates opportunities,
The potential on display.
Providing a respite for the weary,
Who in the darkness, lost their way.
An awakening, a calling,
Encouraging all those who await.
The morning sunlight is a tiny whisper,
Declaring TODAY is only for TODAY.

A morning new, is a phenomenon that happens in our world continually and so normally, that we don’t even really grasp its gift. The soft, quiet, dewy break of dawn presents every possibility so full of potential given to us day after day, and most of the time, we don’t even really recognize it.
For some, it is just another day to go through the motions of life, not realizing that it is a chance to begin again and see, hear, know and experience what they didn’t the day before. However, there is potential in this new day that brings hope of what can be, and it is entrenched in a beautiful start of a morning new.
Lamentations 3:22-24 (NIV). . .Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. (23)They are new every morning; great is thy faithfulness. (24) I say to myself, “The Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait for him.”
Power of Sunrise
Have you ever watched a sunrise? For some, this is a daily occurrence and there are many of these beautiful transitions locked away in their memory. There is something so very enthralling about seeing the light chase away the darkness, and it is so symbolic of many challenges that we deal with internally. For when it is dark, things can hide, and struggles can chain its victim to the cold hopelessness of escape. How can anything change in this miserable, dark place?
Psalm 5:3 (KJV). . . My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O Lord; In the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.
That is when the light breaks in and exposes the beauty of what is real, while echoing the call of something new, something fresh, something inviting you to begin again and take a chance. It’s an opportunity to dust yourself off, and try again. Because there are no limits with God, ANYTHING is possible when He is invited in to that fresh new day. It is in that knowledge, where HOPE can live.

God’s Mercies Are New . . . Morning By Morning!
Thank you for this encouraging word to begin my dayā¦God always sends a word right when we need it.
I am mesmerized by the sunrise especially when Iām able to watch it rise over the water.

This was a Word for me as well- No limits with God! He is an incredible Creator, Savior and Father, who knows how to give His children good GifTS. I agree-Sunrise and water just magnifies the whole experience:)
I love this. I have always loved the light of day and of Gods creations. I have as much as I can white in my house for light. I keep my blinds opened for light all material things, but most of all I want to be a light to someone. I want my light to shine āØ thatās what is important. Souls being saved. Thank you I enjoy reading these. I save them and go back to them at different times.
