Hello there and welcome to Preacher’s Prose!

HELLO!  My name is Wendi and I am so glad to have you here right now, sharing some of your precious time with me.

My prayer remains to give glory to God in this blog, and give my best attempt at keeping my human condition from making it about me, while I am trying to make it about Him:)  Easier said than done at times, but here goes…

My heart has been burdened for some years now . . . to use this forum of thoughtfulness to help speak peace back out there into a world of troubled thoughts and words.

I will attempt in this space to create a prose of words which I have heard in messages preached, scriptures which I have read in God’s Word, and from many other sources.  It is in the artistry of these words, I hope to help those that read them, to feel a sense of joy, peace and encouragement as they deal with the battlefield that can war in the mind.  This world can be a troubled place to dwell, but God is our Strong Tower, and He continues to be our ever-present help.

He reminds us in Isasiah 41:10 (KJV) . . Fear thou not; for I am with thee:  be not dismayed; for I am thy God:  I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee: yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

We are not alone folks, and I am so thankful for His PEACE, His HOPE, and His JOY, that all streams from His AMAZING LOVE!  We have a choice about what we think on.  What we choose can determine so much.

OUR THOUGHT LIFE WRITES OUR STORY!

God knows what we are thinking before we are even thinking it, andHe knows the POWER of our thoughts.

Which is why, we are encouraged in Phillipians 4:8 (KJV). . . Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are TRUE, whatsoever things are HONEST, whatsoever things are JUST, whatsoever things are PURE, whatsoever things are LOVELY, whatsoever things are of a Good REPORT, if there be any VIRTUE, and if there be any PRAISE,      THINK  ON  THESE   THINGS.

The things I say and the way I write them, won’t always jive with   everyone who reads them, and that is not easy for me to “think on'”. . . so I won’t:)  I have a message to give  . . . in an unconventional platform, and I can no longer stand in my own way.  It’s not about me, so I step aside.  Here I am, Lord . . . send me.
