Faith helps us to understand,

There are seasons.

Seasons help us to understand,

God’s place at God’s pace.

We are not always given the reasons.

Patience is required,

It lets faith display its strength.

We can’t know the outcome,

God’s place at God’s pace.

The season exercises its length.

Unbelief mocks in anxiety,

Impatience brings covetness along.

Confusion grates this season,

God’s place at God’s pace.

Manipulation composes a song.

Faith has to be spoken,

To authentically explain.

The dry ground will be changing,

God’s place at God’s pace.

Bringing the sound of abundance of rain.

God has a PLACE,

God has a PLAN,

God has a PACE.

Faith releases.

Attending a Ladies Conference, in Pigeon Forge TN, several years back (2011 to be exact:), I was blessed to hear the encouragement sent out over that room full of women, looking for just that. Nancy Grandquist was the speaker, and she came in full force that night, to remind us of who we are.

We are children of the Most High, the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords! He holds ALL power in His hands, and we choose whether or not to tap into that on a daily basis. A lifetime will bring many seasons, and those seasons are there to display God’s greater plan. Yes, He has a plan for your life. Yes, He has place for that plan, and yes, He has a pace for it all to operate within.

Patience is a virtue, we have heard it said. Sis. Grandquist reminded us that night, that patience displays our inner strength. It shows our faith. When it looks like nothing is happening, we have a choice of which directions to take our mind and emotions, seeing both can steer our actions.

Unbelief only brings anxiety, impatience and covetousness to work within us. When we feel that we can’t take it anymore, we desire to seize control of the situation and begin manipulating it to our favor. Something must be wrong. God must need our help. Time to step in. Or so, we foolishly think.

Faith, on the other hand, lets go. It releases. It shows stability to stand and believe when there is no proof before you. When the ground is dry and nothing is happening. That, is when we must DECLARE our faith in God’s ability to turn it around! Faith must be SPOKEN to activate, in word or in deed. In the Bible, the prophet Elijah spoke such faith to Kind Ahab during a long and trying drought they had all been enduring. There was no storm brewing in the sky. NOTHING was happening, but he DECLARED it. He declared that it was going to change! He was displaying His faith in God.

I Kings 18:41 (KJV) . . .And Elijah said unto Ahab, “Get thee up, eat and drink; for there is a sound of abundance of rain.”

We must be bold and DECLARE that faith in God’s hand working within our own lives. We must BELIEVE that He has a place, a plan and a pace for us, that He is directing and providing for. Trust Him with the process.

Philippians 4:19 (KJV) . . .But my God shall supply all your needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Encourage Yourself in the Lord Today!!
