Revelation is enlightening,

Given in exactly the right time.

It’s revealed in the perfect season,

To open your spiritual eyes.

It finds you in a prayer,

A conversation, or a word.

God is wanting to reveal to you,

Something powerful to absorb.

Do you feel that longing deep inside,

To be portrayed in God designs?

He reveals an invitation to join,

Yet you wait, for a better time.

Don’t get lost in the waiting,

Time will sing its lullaby.

God is looking past excuses,

For your move that will comply.

Revelation requires action,

Faith that’s trusting where He leads.

There is purpose in God’s calling,

Transforming things unseen.

Renew the mind and be in tune,

For this moment to reveal.

Light will shine upon what you don’t know,

Transposing things concealed.

Author’s Look~

We all look for a revelation at some point in our lives, as we long to know of something new to enlighten us in a way that will broaden our understanding. We are not, however, always so anxious to enter into action towards the thing that has been revealed unto us. As we grow and develop as humans, but more importantly, as Christians and ambassadors of Christ, we must be in tune with the things going on around us that can present opportunities, in moments of revelation, towards things God is calling us to.

The Hidden Revelation

Matthew 11:25 (KJV) . . .At that time, Jesus answered and said, ” I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent and hast revealed them unto babes.

In that chapter, Jesus goes on to present a revelation of who He is. Action will then be required, to act on the knowledge given. He is shining light on it and desiring all to come to the knowledge that He is presenting, so that change can be made in their lives and eternity.

Rev. Roy Duke preached this message of Revelation and inspired what I have written. He was speaking to us about getting involved in the kingdom of God and being in tune with what God was trying to reveal to us. God will look for different avenues to reach us. It may come in words spoken, something read, a song heard . . . just something in a moment, that catches us and causes a stir to begin. All of a sudden we can see something that we couldn’t see before. Once it is seen, the crucial part begins.

Action

Stoping to acknowledge a revelation is a big deal and a real moment of enlightenment. It can feel exciting and rewarding to just be able to see it. That is only the starting point of the reveal, for ACTION is the key that turns the lock and opens the door to the heart of a revelation. Rev. Duke reminded us that God won’t lead us somewhere for no reason. He doesn’t revel just to reveal, but He is calling us to action. He can show you, but He won’t do it for you. We have to take our own steps towards the things that have had the light shown on them and have been opened up to us.

Transformation is waiting, purpose is waiting, and “a place in the portrait that God is painting” (Rev. Duke), is waiting. What is it you are waiting for? What is God revealing to you? Take that step of faith and propel the power of revelation. Now is the time. . .

REVELATION IS BEAUTIFUL!

  1. Yes! And Now the key for me is to “Take the step towards the thing..”

My heart is saying “Take that step of faith and propel the power of revelation. Now is the time…” ♥️

    1. Revelation feels good, but action doesn’t always give that same vibe:) I think we underestimate sometimes, just how much God expects us to act upon what He reveals to us. The responsibility is real, and not as optional as we categorize it. Faith that He is with us in what He is asking us to do, is a great encouragement to move, react, take the steps and begin the thing ❤️
