You don’t need a perfect setting,
To find a place of PRAISE.
You just need a voice of worship,
To proclaim God’s wondrous ways.
Worship is not the indicator,
That all is going well.
It does not signal we have it figured out,
But that the one who does, we hail.
God’s not in need of us to worship Him,
To remind Him of who He is.
He lets it open up our hearts,
To remind us of all that’s His.
When we are at our weakest,
And declare His magnificent ways,
It transcends the circumstances,
And creates Perfected PRAISE.
The sweetest tones, for our creator to hear,
Is the cry of our desperate souls.
I need you God! I need you God!
Nothing more can make me whole!
God’s power is presented,
The opportunity to display.
When the one so weak and despondent,
Worships His greatness with high praise.
Worship can seem like the wrong response,
But brings about unlikely results.
Worship in the middle of a battle,
Can cause the enemy to suddenly, halt.
He’s confused by it and undermined,
By this weapon of great defense.
Foundations begin to be shaken,
As the champion shows His great strength!
It’s us who needs the praise,
To be given to God’s ways.
And it inspires those around us,
To go for victory on hard days.
PRAISE that’s been restored,
PRAISE that’s been made whole.
It’s Perfected PRAISE that glorifies,
Our great God, who loves us so.

Perfected Praise was a sermon preached by Rev. Michael Ensey in Nashville TN, on March 6, 2016. He preached that Sunday morning about the real purpose and position of praise. We think so many times, that when we praise, we are doing it for God. He gave us a different view. . .
“God doesn’t need us to remind Him of who He is. Praise reminds us of who HE is. We need it- not Him.”
“We don’t worship because we have it all together-all figured out, but because He does!
Rev. Ensey referensed Matthew 21:16 (KJV) . . .And said unto him, Hearest thou what these say? And Jesus saith unto them, Yeah; have you never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise?
He expounded upon that . . .“Out of the mouths of babes/children, praise is perfected. Perfected praise comes from a source of weakness. Infants cannot do anything for themselves. Everything has to be provided by someone else. A dependent infant is the source of perfected praise. Jesus- the LIVING WORD would quote to them, the WRITTEN WORD!”
“Great things are brought about by the weak- the dependent one in need. It is an opportunity for God to put His power on display.”
“Why give God praise when we are down and out? It brings restoration, wholeness, healing.”
“That kind of praise . . . praise that’s been restored, made whole . . . is Perfected Praise.”
No matter what is going on in your life today, or how dark things may seem . . . the way to a better day is to praise your way to victory. Proclaim the MIGHT and GOODNESS of God. Declare Him as the VICTOR in your situation.
In doing this, you will for starters, take your mind off of the negative that is weighing you down as you place your mind on your great King. Then that act of praising, will transcend your heart to a place of hope and faith for a breakthrough, an answer, a healing, a provision . . . . Luke 1:37 (KJV) For with God nothing shall be impossible.
Your praises will echo and shatter the walls of fear and doubt. Your cries to God of your need for Him will exalt His possibilities. WITH GOD . . ANYTHING is possible!
God is GREAT and GREATLY to be PRAISED!
Oh how much I need him!!
Yes-we are nothing without him!
