The Days of a Mom begin
The moment that she knows
Another will now need her
In thriving as they grow.
It’s a tapestry of her days
That tell a deep and thoughtful tale
Sewn together in the moments
Of walking this unknown trail.
The days can fold together
With chaos well ensued
Some days can feel so pointless
Mundane moments know their cues.
Not every day is a good day
Learning as she goes. . .
Humanity moments deliver
Realties she’d rather not know.
But then there are the moments
That wash all of that away
The days that celebrate this calling
When she is killing the momming game!
No matter how they come
The moments continue to flow
Like sand sifting within her hands
These moments and days will go.
Her tapestry is so beautiful
A continual thread is skillfully displayed
Unwavering LOVE surrounding
This story of all of Mom’s Days.

On this Mother’s Day, I am sending this message of honor to every Mom who has ever given out the love that only a Mother can give. No matter how that individual you cared for, came into your life to love, there is a place at the table of honor for you.
To every Mom heart who never had a child of her own, but gave that kind of love to one in need, I honor you. To every Mom who had her hands full, and gave more than she felt was left to give, I honor you. To every Mom who never gave up, I honor you. To every Mom still dreaming to love that way, I honor you.
Motherhood is a tough job, no matter what form it takes. It is not for the faint of heart, mind or body. . . as all those are stretched to their utmost lengths while continued through the inertia of Love. There is a greater cause, a future that is at stake. . .and so, a Mom’s heart presses on.
This world owes an enormous gratitude to this power of love and care that has transformed so much in the lives of so many. Motherhood is one of God’s greatest gifts to mankind, and He used it as an example of His tender love for us all.
Isaiah 66:13 (KJV) . . . As one whom his mother comforteth, so will I comfort you; and ye shall be comforted in Jerusalum.
To my own Mom, I am grateful. Words will never be able to describe my love and gratitude to you. To my children, I am grateful. Being your Mom has been my greatest privilege in life. The journey of motherhood is such a wondrous adventure. I feel the rich blessing of knowing its road.
Thank someone who has taken that journey with you!
What a beautifully written commemoration to mothers! This is truly God’s blessing to the family unit, as mothers not only nurture the home but are the prayer warriors that maintain an environment for God to dwell.
Well said, Annalia🤍 We Moms know the power before the Throne! God gives us so many different opportunities and avenues to “cover” our family. Thanks for visiting!
