Fall is a space,

Where my delight can find its place,

In each corner of its beauty,

Shines the promise of a change.

Its crisp air sings a song,

The falling leaves move gracefully to.

Dancing in its whispers,

Bowing to its ways.

Vibrant colors paint the sky,

Everywhere the color’s new.

Poising in perfection,

Tempting all who are in view.

Reaching for its peak when,

It strikes the senses all to know.

Its gifts that bring much pleasure,

During the season of its show.

The lungs breathe it in,

The eyes heed its teasing call,

The ears hear the sweet song,

That the heart feels,

When it’s FALL.

Author’s Look~

I couldn’t resist writing this fun piece for my favorite season of the year . . . Fall. It seemed like it took a little longer this year to get the temperature straightened out here in Tennessee, but finally it came. It gloriously came. Its cool crisp air, free of all humidity is always a joy for my lungs to breathe, and my skin to feel.

And then there is the show. Sit back and watch its wondrous beauty, as it changes the color of leaves daily. It will not disappoint, and proves the point, that change is on its way, making it a magical time of year.

On this Earth, God has given us so MANY great gifts, and fall is one that I thank Him for continuously throughout the season. I truly see it as a gift and do my best to enjoy each day of it that I can. His artistry is quite amazing, and as I look into the beauty of this season, it always reminds me time and again of just how great and majestic God is. His handywork is matchless!

Psalm 19:1 (KJV) . . .The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament showeth his handywork.

Then, there is the famous quote written by L.M. Montgomery for Anne Shirley to speak in Anne of Green Gables,

“I’m so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers.”
