Author’s Look~

The Glory of God! None can match, and the peace He brings, nothing else can compare. It is like a river of sweet water that flows through our soul, renewing and restoring what has been wrecked. How rich we are to be able to tap into this resource! In a world that can be so hard for our humble frame to dwell in, God gives the pool of living waters to retreat to.

I won’t pretend to know the definition of Selah, as I’m just like you and can only take note of what comes up on Google:) There are various possibilities, such as silence or pause, a musical interlude, Amen, Hallelujah or iterjection. All of these possibilities work for me, since they all point to bringing attention to what is being said. What is being said here is, “To God be the glory for EVERYTHING!” We owe Him a continual praise on our lips for the daily provisions He brings both big and small. Each breath we take is a celebration of worship to the Creator, who made it possible. Praise Him for it!

David put it best in Psalm 24:10 (KJV) . . .Who is this King of glory? The Lord hosts, He is the King of glory. Selah.

This King of glory is waiting with arms open to receive you. No high is too high with Hm and no low is too low. His mercy and grace can restore and help you start anew. Push away the darkness with the glory of His light. Turn away from what is dragging you down, and turn toward the ONE who can lift you up.
