Early in your conscious,

I brought you into a place.

Where PEACE and LOVE and JOY abide,

So you could see my face.

These are the things I stand for,

And the enemy wants to steal.

I know the strength they give to you,

And HOPE they lend to heal.

This is how you’ll find me,

And really get to know.

My heart inside that beats for you,

And my dream to see you grow.

I’ve watched you and I’ve waited,

While you passed through twist and turns.

To see you look upon me,

My desire for you yet burns.

The PEACE, the LOVE, the JOY,

These are still my gifts to you.

I long to hold you in their power,

Here, you’ll feel my love is true.

See me now and abide in me,

Don’t look to your own way.

No turning back or pause to guess,

Come back from where you’ve strayed.

The beating heart of others,

Who’s lives are broken too.

Help them find the Healer,

Whose hand will guide them through.

I had this thought . . .Does God dream?, and I strummed through all the things we humans hope for and dream of happening one day. I decided it must be true. God dreams. He dreams that humanity, whom He created and died for, will come to Him longing for a relationship with Him that opens the door to an eternity with Him.

God gave man a free will from the beginning, so it is up to each and every individual to make that move toward God. That’s all it takes . . .one move, one choosing, and then He’s there- answering that call and showing us how to walk in the relationship with Him.

It’s hard for God, I would imagine, to sit back and have to wait until we are ready to let Him into our lives. He patiently waits, and He loves, and He dreams of the day that He will be in relationship with those still trying to live life on their own.

2 Peter 3:9 (ESV) . . .The Lord is not slow to fulfill His promise as some count slowness, but is patient towards you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.

He gives freely, experiences with His love, joy and peace, so that mankind can see Him and know Him. NO ONE can make you feel that way that God does. NO ONE!

Only He can lift the sorrows and heavy loads that life so quickly can produce. Only He can wash your soul with peace and calm when you are standing in the midst of a raging storm. It is His love alone, that is true, pure and genuine. He dreams of each and every one of us to have this experience with Him, and to abide under the shadow of His wing as a covering all of our days.

But, we have to CHOOSE Him! It’s up to us to come to Him and acknowledge who He is and how much we need him. Trying to figure out life on our own will only last for a short while. The end of the rope will show up all too quickly, where we will find ourselves calling out for a Savior. And, then He’s there . . with the dream coming true of the relationship He longs for and wants to give.

God dreams that we will choose Him above all else. Yes He knows the future, but His heart of love will always be beating and longing for that relationship with every single one of us. Make that dream a reality and watch the power of it in your life, give you fulfillment like nothing else.
