Early in the morning light,
Afternoon or evening dew.
Way up high or just right nearby,
Magnificence glows in view.
Declaring the wondrous glory,
Of Almighty God’s craft and matchless hand.
Revealing alluring splendor,
Drawing respect this wonder commands.
Reaching each outer corner,
Tucked within every waving hill.
Splashed against the heavens,
Praise to the Creator is fulfilled.
It speaks in every language,
All can hear its beckoning call.
Each eye takes in the marvel,
The Earth is cloaked in grateful awe.
The space it holds is untouchable,
There are no bounds that can set up rule.
This is a Divine Representation,
Unraveling what some declare to be true.
The creation cannot contain it,
Or imitate what ultimately shines.
We can only Declare the Glory,
Of the one and only God DIVINE.

Author’s Look~
This piece was written from the scriptures, and as I was reading, I once again felt the wonder of the mighty magnificence of God!
Psalm 19: 1-4 (KJV). . .The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handiwork. (2)Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. (3)There is no speech or language, where their voice is not heard. (4)Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle of the sun.
Scripture Says It
Psalm 19 was the first chapter I ever memorized from the Bible, as a new 4th grader at a Christian School. Having only attended public schools, this was new to me, and I was amazed at my and my classmates ability to do this. I had thought that they were asking too much of us little children, but soon realized that we had the capacity to do this and more. There was nothing greater for us to have placed into our hearts and minds than the word of God!!! The living, breathing Word of God sharpens the mind and reminds the heart of the truths this world will not repeat.
Since that time, I have read this passage many times, but it was only in my adult years where I really appreciated the meaning of these words. If we will just stop for a minute and think about a blade of grass, a cloud, a tree, a flower, a flying bird, a hopping bunny, our own lungs giving life . . . it will quickly take us into wonder of the great Creator of it all.
The Heavens Declare It
The sky alone sounds the trumpet of greatness when we will just look up. Think about the atmosphere and how it changes so seamlessly, the cycles of night and day, the seasons that are always in transition. I’m asking you to think about it . . .really. We see it everyday, but never really look.
The Earth itself sings praises to God with every whisper of morning through the song of a day, in the way it glows and breathes the beauty of God’s handiwork. The branches swaying in the wind, the colors swirling around us, all testify of a glorious Creator. At the close of a day, the evening begins its worship of quiet stars, a glowing moon, creatures glowing and singing their songs of praise, recognizing the God of the Universe.
Some try to replicate, break down, or demean where all of this bounty has come from. They will never find success, for the Earth is cloaked in grateful awe and comprehension. It bows to the wonder of its existence and declares God’s glory in every language. It will not be quieted or outdone. The creation will never surpass the Creator. Sit back and enjoy what God has blessed our world with and just take a moment to get lost in the wonder of it all.
God’s great splendor and genius is not of this world, but it has made this world!
Declare HIS Glory!!!

This is beautiful! I was parasailing last week and while up in the air I stated look at all God has made and how beautiful it was. I’m thankful I know who made this beauty you wrote about. Thank you I will think of this scripture now when I see what he has done.
